A city in northern Iran which was the capital city during the reign of the Safavid empire in the 16th century. Qazvin, is actually a term used in America for fine double wefted Hamadan rugs with a designs similar to Sarouks. Foundation is cotton and knot count is between 130-200 knots per square inch.
